Hello 👋 — I'm Sentiljan.

I build products from schema to screen.

Seven-plus years of engineering across frontend architecture, full-stack (Node.js / NestJS) and mobile (React Native / Expo) — micro-frontends, system design and the decisions in between. From financial trading interfaces at Cardo AI to building and shipping NabThis, a cross-platform e-commerce marketplace.

01 — What I do

Engineering, end to end

I'm a developer at core. I enjoy turning complex problems into simple, well-architected systems — and I cover every step from the database schema to the pixel that ships.

01 / architecture

Frontend Architecture

Micro-frontends with Module Federation, scalable state with normalized RTK Query caches and entity adapters, and performance & memory profiling on data-dense interfaces that handle 100k+ rows.

02 / systems

Full-Stack & System Design

NestJS, Prisma and PostgreSQL behind well-drawn boundaries: multi-repo architecture with a published ORM package, versioned schema migrations, S3 media pipelines and Docker-based environments.

03 / mobile

Mobile Engineering

React Native and Expo apps that share types and logic with the web: Expo Router navigation, Reanimated interactions, and component systems built to survive a growing product.

I also do UI/UX design — mostly in Figma — from wireframes to component libraries. It means I can take a feature from blank frame to shipped screen without waiting on a hand-off. But the code is the craft.

02 — Decision log

Architecture calls I've made

Senior work is mostly judgment. A few decisions from real systems, and the reasoning behind them:

ADR-001NabThis · repo strategy

Split the platform into six repos with a published ORM package

Web, mobile, API, ORM, shared types and infra each own their release cycle. The Prisma layer ships as a versioned internal package, so schema changes are explicit, reviewable upgrades — not surprises pulled in from a folder.

ADR-002NabThis · migrations

Plan the Prisma 6→7 upgrade as a documented rollout, not a bump

Driver adapters, the ESM-only module shift and 51 import sites across the backend meant a written migration plan with sequencing, rollback and post-deploy monitoring for connection-pool exhaustion — before touching a dependency.

ADR-003Web frontend · scaling

Adopt Module Federation for independently deployable frontend slices

As the web app grows, micro-frontends let features deploy without full-app releases. Evaluated build-time vs runtime sharing and chose federation where team and release boundaries actually exist — architecture should follow the org, not fashion.

ADR-004Cardo AI · data layer

Normalize server state with RTK Query serializers and entity adapters

Trading interfaces re-render under a firehose of data. Normalized caches with stable entity IDs kept 100k+ row grids responsive while position-booking forms stayed consistent with the server.

ADR-005NabThis · data model

Normalize the schema early; make media a pipeline, not a column

E-commerce data (products, variants, addresses, orders) was normalized before launch, and uploads flow through a dedicated S3 media pipeline — because storage decisions are the ones you can't cheaply undo.

NabThis

Full-Stack Developer

React NativeExpoNestJS PrismaViteRedux Toolkit AWS S3Docker

A cross-platform e-commerce marketplace, built end-to-end across a six-repo architecture: web frontend (Vite), mobile app (React Native / Expo), NestJS API, a published Prisma ORM package, shared types, and Docker infrastructure.

Owns everything from database schema normalization and a media upload pipeline on AWS S3, to a full mobile component system — product filters, shopping bag, address forms, animated UI with Reanimated — built with Gluestack UI, NativeWind and RTK Query.

Recent focus: mobile development on Expo, a documented Prisma 6→7 upgrade plan, module-federation exploration on the web frontend, and developer onboarding docs for the team.

Cardo AI

Senior Frontend Developer

ReactTypeScriptAnt Design RTK QueryCanvas

Built frontend for a financial trading platform: complex position-booking forms with portfolio allocation, instrument selection and date validation; financial calculation engines for weight, amount and currency conversions; and normalized data layers with RTK Query serializers and entity adapters.

Worked on the Equalizer module — data-dense trading interfaces built to stay responsive under real load.

Side project · Automation

Job Application Pipeline

Python · Public APIs

PythonAdzunaReed GreenhouseLever

An automated pipeline that aggregates roles from six public job APIs, tailors CV output per posting, and exports structured results to Excel — turning a scattered search into a reproducible system.

05 — Experience

The path so far

Sep 2025 — present

Full-Stack Developer

NabThis

Architecting and building a cross-platform marketplace: NestJS backend, Prisma data layer, Vite web app and React Native mobile app — plus the docs, Docker setup and upgrade plans that keep a growing codebase healthy.

Until Sep 2025

Senior Frontend Developer

Cardo AI

Frontend for institutional fintech: trading and position-booking interfaces, financial calculations, and high-volume data grids in React and TypeScript.

Frontend · Logistics

Frontend Developer

Ydistry — Prague, Czechia

Developed the frontend of a logistics product for a Czech company based in Prague — building the interfaces that move real goods through real supply chains, for users who live in the app all day.

Frontend · Product variety

Frontend Developer

Motomtech

Shipped three very different products in React: a social media app, a KPI measuring application for tracking business metrics, and a parcels application built on the Google Maps API — geocoding, routing and live map interfaces.

2018 — onwards

Frontend Developer

Agency & client work

Full website builds for businesses across North America and Europe — the years that taught me to ship complete products, and that a system is only as good as the experience of using it.

07 — About

Beyond the editor

My path into code started early — Adobe Flash experiments and hand-written CSS back when HTML 4 was the standard of the web. What stuck was an obsessive attention to detail and a genuine love for making things: I build software that improves my life and the lives of the people around me, and I enjoy turning complex problems into simple, intuitive products.

Today that looks like being the engineer who writes the migration plan, builds the component, and then documents it so the next person doesn't have to guess. Clean Git history, minimal diffs, boring deploys — that's the good stuff.

Away from the keyboard, I'm usually reading — books are how I sharpen the saw, from engineering classics to whatever pulls me in next. I run a homelab where I tinker with penetration testing, which keeps me honest about security on everything I ship. I'm into music, and yes — the night sky above is a small nod to an interest in astrology. Every stack tells a story; I just like mine mapped in stars.

There's nothing I enjoy more than building good products for nice people. It really is that simple. Please, take a look around.
